My Story

Welcome, I’m Michelle: mom, artist, Kindergarten specialist and teacher. Creativity fills my heart with joy and wonder. Sharing creative play, art, and learning with others is my passion. As a child, I spent countless hours outside dreaming and playing under the canopy of forest trees and observing the beauty and wonder of nature closely.

I believe that children's natural curiosity is joyfully celebrated when they are at play. Supporting children's creativity and imagination through open-ended play and learning is at the forefront of my pedagogy and parenting. Connecting children to the natural world and offering them unique heirloom materials to explore and express themselves with is the founding principle of Creative Explorations.
